The Secretariat is responsible for coordinating and implementing the day-to-day activities of the PREZODE Initiative, supported by the Executive Committee representing the three founding institutes: CIRAD, INRAE, and IRD.
Led by a Secretary General, the Secretariat brings together researchers, project managers, and administrative staff. It convenes expertise in science, communication, events, data, partnerships, member relations, and coordination, among other functions essential to PREZODE’s operations.
The Secretariat is further supported by science focal points who, along with the science officers, contribute to reflections on scientific strategy, projects, and the labelling process, as well as by regional focal points across PREZODE’s regions.
Regional focal points play a key role in connecting local partnerships and initiatives with PREZODE’s global advocacy efforts. They facilitate communication, coordination, and knowledge-sharing among member institutions, governments, and PREZODE’s governance bodies.
PREZODE members are welcome to provide the Secretariat with human, financial, and material resources. Members agreeing to do so will enter into a specific Consortium.
