Anne-Laure Bañuls

Science Focal Point

Dr. Anne-Laure Bañuls is a Director of Research at the IRD and serves as the Scientific Focal Point for the PREZODE initiative (https://prezode.org/), as well as the Regional Focal Point for Southeast Asia. She leads the PREACTS-AfriCam project in Cambodia. Her research focuses on the ecology and evolution of infectious diseases, including zoonoses, by studying the various compartments in which pathogens evolve—hosts, environments, and vectors.Anne-Laure holds a PhD in Biology – Health Sciences.
