Between January 2021 and June 2022, PREZODE conducted 3 round of workshops with the active participation of professionals (i.e., researchers, stakeholders, policymakers) from over 128 countries in 9 areas: Central Africa, Europe, Indian Ocean, Latin America, and the Caribbean, Northern Africa/Middle East, Southern Asia, Southeast Asia/East Asia and the Pacific, Southern and Eastern Africa, USA/Canada, Western Africa.
This broad and multi-disciplinary participatory consultation is the most significant co-design process implemented so far on preventing emerging infectious disease risks, following an impact-based methodology. The workshop’s outcomes resulted in the drafting of the PREZODE Strategic Agenda.
