A joint proposal led by PREZODE
The proposed project aims to enhance PREZODE’s visibility and strengthen partnerships with key organizations such as the World Bank, the Global Fund, and the Quadripartite.
In addition, it would contribute to PREZODE’s long-term sustainability by securing funding for its secretariat, working groups, and member organisations. Aligned with the Pandemic Fund’s priorities, the proposal focuses on improving One Health systems, particularly in surveillance and early warning mechanisms. Goals include enhancing community-based surveillance, building capacity, engaging stakeholders, and implementing to prevent and lower risks of epidemic emergence.
Expected outcomes include more robust and resilient One Health systems in member and pilot countries through training, South-South collaboration, and improved governance. The PREZODE Secretariat is leading the proposal’s development, involving bilateral discussions, co-design workshops, and active member participation.
The final proposal is expected to be submitted in June 2025.
