PREZODE has developed a platform that maps One Health Initiatives worldwide involved in the prevention of zoonosis. A unique and interactive database.
The One Health Initiatives Platform displays the geographical distribution of global activities, projects, programmes, or initiatives (APPIs) aiming at preventing or reducing emerging health risks through a One Health approach, connecting human, animal, and environmental health.
- Explore an interactive map and a list of One Health initiatives around the world.
- Find out more about each APPI, including what they want to achieve, the sectors they work in, the countries where they operate, and who their partners are.
- Add or update information about projects you’re involved in or working on.
- Join a community working to prevent zoonotic risks.
This database presents key characteristics of each of the initiatives that engage to tackle or reduce the risks arising from change, either environmental or global, with a One Health approach.
The initial data on projects/programs/initiatives presented here have been collected initially via:
- An exhaustive literature review (Laury et al. under preparation);
- The 27 regional workshops organized as part of PREZODE co-design process
- Semi-structured interviews in countries and regions currently ongoing within PREZODE and the PREACTs research and development programs.
The database is being updated by the PREZODE community in real-time.
