Kapitolina Synytsina

Event Manager

Kapitolina Synytsina serves as an Event Manager within the Secretariat. She contributes to event strategy and monitoring, and assists with the logistical and budgetary preparation of meetings and events, including on-site support during implementation. She is also an Operational Coordinator of the AfriCam project at IRD, supporting PREACTS-related activities.

Before joining the Secretariat, Kapitolina worked as a project engineer and project manager in life sciences and medicine at major public institutions, including CNRS and a university hospital. In these roles, she supported researchers and medical doctors across the full project cycle — from administrative and contractual management to consortium coordination and the organisation of scientific and institutional events. She also teaches a course on European funding to second-year master's students at Paul Valéry University Montpellier 3 as an Adjunct Lecturer.

She holds three master's degrees in social sciences and humanities, obtained in Ukraine, Estonia and France — most recently a degree in European and International Studies from Aix-Marseille University.
