Cécile Aenishaenslin (DVM, MSc, PhD) is a veterinarian and epidemiologist, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal and a member of GREZOSP (Research Group in Epidemiology of Zoonoses and Public Health). Her work focuses on the development and evaluation of interventions, programmes and policies applying the One Health approach to the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases and antimicrobial resistance. She favours participatory research approaches and a mixed methodology combining quantitative epidemiology and qualitative methods. Her current projects focus on Lyme disease, antimicrobial resistance surveillance and zoonoses in the Canadian Arctic.
