The results will support organizations and governments in developing or updating their health prevention plans, including pandemic prevention, based on field realities and needs.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Early detection and prevention rely heavily on communities and their active engagement. As such, CSOs are essential actors in translating the One Health approach into concrete action. To support evidence-based policy-making, PREZODE is collaborating in an international study led by CIRAD, RAME, ACT Africa, APCASO, rani, and RANA, as well as other partners. The study aims to document and analyze the roles and responsibilities of CSOs in the development and implementation of One Health policies worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It focuses in particular on three key areas :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The current level of CSO involvement<\/strong> in One Health policy processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The main obstacles<\/strong> limiting their engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities to strengthen CSO participation and impact in One Health governance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-pz-orange-color has-background-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/ee.kobotoolbox.org\/x\/ZkIlBRcW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to participate in the study<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online questionnaire and semi-structured interviews<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This global survey builds on an earlier regional <a href=\"https:\/\/prezode-initiative.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Synthesis-of-the-Study-on-the-Role-of-CSOs-Civil-Society-in-One-Health-Public-Policies-in-West-Africa-1-1.pdf\">study conducted in <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/prezode-initiative.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Synthesis-of-the-Study-on-the-Role-of-CSOs-Civil-Society-in-One-Health-Public-Policies-in-West-Africa-1-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Africa<\/a> by CIRAD and RAME, with support from the Initiative. It combines an online questionnaire and semi-structured interviews.\u00a0 The study findings will feed into a technical report and a public policy brief designed to strengthen CSO engagement in One Health governance.
